Hyeri Yoon, South Korea

Hyeri Yoon is prize winner of the Geneva International Music Competition. Ms. Yoon has appeared as a soloist with the St. Petersburg Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre Sinfonie de Suisse Romande, Winterthur Symphony Orchestra and has played recitals worldwide.

She has released CDs „Elegia“ with Samsung Classics and „Poulenc“ with Sony Classic. Previously Ms. Yoon has held the principal flute position in the Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife in Spain and the New World Symphony in Miami. She is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Conservatoire National Superieure de Musique de Paris, Basel Musik Akademie and the Manhattan School of Music.

She is the founder member of the Prefailles Music Festival and Academy in France and currently a professor of the Seoul National University in Korea.
